I've got one more thought for the night, then I'm going to bed. There are some things that shouldn't be allowed to be protected information. National secrets by which our security leadership base their tactics, strategies, and operations are not among them. Wikileaks has crossed a line. It is one thing to expose the communiques of a bank or other private institution which engaged in bad business practices and had a major negative affect on our economy. It's another to publish classified documents on a public medium and compromise our nation's ability to secure its' self and combat our enemies.

To leak cables regarding the detention of terrorists is reckless in the extreme. The person who made these cables available to WikiLeaks is guilty of treason. The staff of WikiLeaks are irresponsible in the extreme for publishing such documents.
I'm saying it, WikiLeaks, get out of the classified information business. Stick to whistle blowing on businesses. You've greatly endangered our servicemembers in Iraq and Afghanistan publishing material like that. And no, you don't have the right to publish this material, it's protected under the provisions of the freedom of information act from such release. It's not excercising free speach, it's compromising our ability to complete the prosecution of our wars in the Middle East.
